We run this group with the aim of ensuring that our patients are involved in decisions about the range and quality of services provided, and to promote proactive engagement of patients. The meetings are open to any patient registered at the Practice. We meet three times a year, for an hour, and the only qualification you need is “to care about your health and how that care is delivered”. Please consider joining us – remember this is YOUR surgery. At present our membership is very low and we would really welcome new members – we want the group to be representative of our patient population in terms of age, sex and ethnicity. Our latest CQC report noted that the Patient Participation Group was largely inactive and no Practice surveys had been carried out in two years. We want to address this but in order to do so we need our patients to become involved. Please speak to the Practice Manager, Sheila, if you want to know more, or have any ideas.
Please see the news page for details of the next meeting.
